Description

ACI marina Pomer lies south of the village of Pomer.

Open: All year round.

Berth: the marina has 220 berths and 30 boat places on land. Berths have water and power supply.

Facilities:

Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, natical gear store, grocery store, repair shop, 10 t crane, parking lot. The nearest supermarket is 700 m away.

Shopping is possible in the city, whereas major repairs can be done in the "Uljanik" shipyard.

About Pomer

As this coastal area was inhabited by the Romans in the past, there are remains of Roman and early Christian graves (Sveti Andrija site). Relics from the 15th and 16th cc. are kept in the parish church of St. Mary. The ruins of the Byzantine cemetery church of St. John are found in Funtana Bay. Numerous remains were also discovered during the construction of the ACI marina, among them the foundations of a villa rustica which are today part of the marina.
During the summer months the town square is the center of cultural events with numerous open-air classical music concerts. The surroundings are ideal for long walks and bicycle riding, while the village itself offers a large choice of seafood restaurants.
