marina Cres lies in the southern part of Cres harbor, in a long sheltered bay on the
western coast of the island of Cres.
Open: All year round.
Berth: The marina has 450 berths and 120 boat places on land. All berths
have water and power supply.
Facilities: Reception, exchange
office, restaurant, toilets and showers, grocery store, nautical gear store, dentist,
repair shop, 10 t crane, 30 t travel lift, derrick for mast removing (20 m), boat charter
- AYC (Adria Yacht Center), parking lot, comfortable apartments and gas station in the
northern part of the marina.
In the year 1999 ACI marina Cres along with five other ACI marinas was awarded the
"European Blue Flag", an environmental award, given to communities that make a
special effort to keep their beaches and marinas clean and manage them with consideration
for the local environment. The marina has been nominated for the same award in the year
2013.

As early as 1332, Cres (res republica Crepsa) had its statute and in 1459 it became
the seat of Venetian administration for the island of Cres and Lo¹inj. Among the historic
sites in the town one should mention the Town Gate with Clock Tower from the 16th c. which
leads to the square with the Gothic-Renaissance church of St. Mary (15th c.). There are
also numerous Venetian Gothic and early Renaissance buildings that house collections of
cultural and historic monuments. An excellent micro-climate as well as the charming
surroundings of the town of Cres offer the visitor a high-quality, active and diverse
vacation. The waters of Valun and Kvarner Bays to the coast of Istria are ideal for
sailing. The high-quality gastronomic offer includes the famed Cres lamb and olive oil,
but also other typical island products (fruit, vegetables, herbs and brandy). There is a
wide variety of sports activities: spear-fishing, tennis, mini-golf, sailing, windsurfing,
bird watching (white-headed vulture - gyps fulvus).
Events: Cres Cup Regatta, various exhibitions, Lubenice Musical Soirées,
Cres Fair (August), olive picking (November).
