| Passports |  |
Passports or other identification documents registrated by international agreements.
Tourist may stay for up to three months. A driving licence, traffic licence and the
relevant insurance documents (except for countries that have other regulations) are
necessary for entry into Croatia with a vehicle. |
| Customs | |
Custom duties are not paid on personal objects. Professional and technical equipment of sustantial value should be reported when entering the country. Foreign currency can be imported and exported freely. |
| Money | |
The official currency of the Republic of Croatia is the KUNA which has 100 LIPA. Foreign currency may be exchanged in banks, exchange officies and post officies in accordance with the valid exchange rate. All major credit cards (Amex, Diners, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa) and Eurocheques (after being changed in banks) are accepted. |
| Tourist health insurance | |
Foreign tourists do not have to pay for medical services if there is a signed health insurance convention between Croatia and their country of origin. Health care costs for tourists from a country that does not have a signed convention with Croatia are paid directly by the user in accordance with listed prices. |

| Working hours | |
Banks and post officies are generally open from 7 AM to 7 PM without breaks, and public officies from Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. During the tourist season, post officies are generaly open until 9 PM, including Saturday. Most of shops and department stores work from 8 AM to 8 PM without breaks. A smaller number of stores close between noon and 4 PM. |
