Captain:                     Diamantis Petrohilos, Greek Nationality, 35 years old, married with two children. He graduated from the Piraeus Marine Academy and holds certificates of 2^nd officer of the ministry of Greek mercantile marine (he also completed experience required for obtaining the certificate of 1^st officer of the ministry of Greek mercantile marine), of prevention of marine pollution, of contingency planning (IMO-OPA 90), of safe vessel's operation, of watches/duties(STCW), of safety (Life rafts/extinguishers), of general operator and GMDSS (G.O.) and of medical care. He worked 2 years as an apprentice officer and 2^nd officer in Motor Tankers (MT CHIOS, MT MEANDROS, MT AMAZON, MT AXIOS, MT EVROS), 8 months as a 2^nd officer in liquid petroleum gax carriers (GAZ MED), and also 8 years as a captain in motor yachts (M/Y GETAWAY, M/Y MACOTA II, M/Y MARE MEDITTERANEO, M/Y PALOMA, and finally M/Y THREE K)and also 8 years as a captain in motor yachts (M/Y GETAWAY, M/Y MACOTA II, M/Y MARE MEDITTERANEO, M/Y PALOMA, and finally M/Y THREE K). He likes water sports and he is a member of HELMEPA. He speaks Greek and English.
