Cruising is a lovely way to spend one's holidays, but it takes much more than a wonderful idea and a fancy yacht to make it a memorable experience. It takes skilled and dedicated people working on board as a team, people who have cruising as their life. All in all, it takes the MELODY CREW. We are happy to present the MELODY CREW:

 

Captain:                        Anastasios Konstantakos, Greek nationality, 34 years old, single.

                                    Captain Tassos has been at sea since the age of 20. Born in Pylos of the Peloponnese. He graduated as second officer from the National Academy for Merchant Marine Officers and served on cargo ships and tugboats sailing to many parts of the world on merchant vessels. He holds certificates in Radar Observation and plotting, use of Navigation Aids, Life Saving and Fire Fighting, radiotelephone Operation and has attended seminars on Gyrocompasses, rudder automation and other relevant topics.

                                    Captain Tassos served in the Navy as Second Officer. Since the sea is also the arena of his pastime, it is not surprising that he is also a certified PADI diver. He enjoys spear fishing, swimming and, when not in the water, reading. Tassos has a pleasant personality and is very sociable. He is fluent in English.

 

Chief Engineer:              Kostas Zafifopoulos, Greek Nationality, 44 years of age, married with 2 children. He is at sea for 18 years from which the last 5 years in yachts. He holds certificates life saving and fire fighting and the International Convention on standards of training certification and watch keeping for seafarers. He is very experienced and efficient in his job. In him guests find a well trained professional as well as a valuable companion at sea. English speaker.

 

Chef:                             Nikiforos Konidaris, Greek Nationality, 55 years old, married with 2 children. Total sea service 32 years on cruise vessels and yachts. The guests of MELODY can enjoy Greek, French and American cuisine. English speaker.

 

Steward:                       Ariel Salazar, Filipino, 30 years old. He has ample working experience on yachts and passenger ships. English speaker.

Deck Hands:                  Nastatos and Rufino, Greek and Filipino respectively, well trained professionals and pleasant person.
