Description

The Mrtinovik bay is located on the southeast side of Hvar and one of the bays that offer the best shelter in strong north winds. The water is crystal clear and on the shore there is a beautiful pebble beach. The fisherman Ante Rosandic, who is called Gambo, operates a rustic tavern in the northeast part of the bay. Mainly fresh caught fish and octopus ends up on the plate but also other Dalmatian specialties. There is no menu. For boaters , there is a small dock and few mooring buoys. A reservation in advance is worthwhile in any case.
