Approach
Both the village and the tower are conspicuous. Keep M off the coast when approaching Villanova to avoid rocky shallows close inshore. When abeam of the harbour head towards the entrance, passing 20m off the N breakwater. Note that a rock, which is awash, lies approximately 100m E of the entrance. Do not attempt to enter the harbour in strong onshore winds or E winds.
