45°09'N 14°40"-4E Charts BA 2719, MK 5, lmray M24 Uvala Stipanja lies on the northeast coast of Otok Krk, approximately lM southwest of Crikvenica on the mainland coast. The village of Silo lies at the head of Uvala Stipanja on the SW side of the bay. The bay is sheltered from E by a long neck of land terminating in Rt Silo. There is a shoal with 3.9m over it extending about 1 cable northwards from Rt Silo. Most of Uvala Stipanja is deep, but yachts can anchor in convenient depths in the S part of the bay. At the village there is a breakwater protecting the W part of the bay from NW.

Berth
Tie up along the inner side of the breakwater, taking care to avoid the underwater ballasting. Depths alongside the breakwater are 3 to 4m. Anchor Anchor in the SE corner of the bay in 4-8m. The bottom is sand and mud, good holding.
Shelter
Shelter in Uvala Stipanja is said to be good in a bora, but consider taking lines ashore (to the E side of the bay) if necessary. The bay is exposed to winds from N and NW, but is sheltered from other directions.
