General

It is well sheltered and is a safe place to leave the boat whilst walking to Koreula for supplies or sightseeing. The main disadvantage is the loud music coming from one of the nearby cafes. The anchorage can also be overcrowded during height of the season.

Approach

The entrance to the bay lies 3 cables SE of Koreula marina. When approaching from E beware of PliCina Kriz, a shoal where there is less than 4m depth, situated nearly 2 cables NE of the E headland. Anchor The most sheltered anchorage is in 5m to the S of the small rocky islet and reef. Approach this leaving the islet to port. It is also possible to anchor N of this islet in lOm, but avoid the pipeline (see plan above). The bottom is mud, and excellent holding particularly S of the islet.

Berth

Go bow/stern-to the quay on the W side of the bay.

Shelter

The bay provides good all-round shelter, especially in the bora and the sirocco.

Facilities

Nearby are a campsite, restaurants and cafe/bars. There is a supermarket on the road to Korcula. All other facilities are available in Koreula town. Otocic Badija
