1. Uvala LuCina (Mo/at) 44°12'.7N l4°52'.6E This bay can be identified by the church up on the hill above the village and the buildings around the harbour area. Visitors should berth bow/stern-to the quay, beyond the ferry berth, where lines have been laid. There are depths of 3m in this position. A mooring fee and visitors' tax will be collected. Inside the crowded harbour are depths of 2m and less. Anchoring in Uvala Lucina is not permitted. Shelter in this bay is good from all directions except SW. A cafe and shop are located near the pier, and the ferry calls here. Electricity and water have been laid onto the quay. There is a restaurant nearby. Other facilities including a shop and a Post Office are in the village. 2. Uvala Podgarbe 44°13'N 14°52'E Uvala Podgarbe is the next bay NW of Uvala Lucina. It is a pleasant and spacious anchorage. Anchor towards the head of the bay in 5m. The holding in sand is good. Towards the centre of the bay depths increase to over 20m. Uvala Podgarbe is well sheltered from all directions except SW and S. At the far end of Brguljski Zaljev there is a shallower area where it is possible to anchor in depths of Sm or less. The holding in sand is good. This anchorage is uncomfortable if not dangerous in strong S winds, which cause a big sea here. The shelter in winds from W through N to E is excellent. Luka Jazi
