42°43'.9N 16°53'.6E Charts BA 1574, 2712, SC 5767, MK 23, lmray M26 The sheltered inlet of Skrivena Luka (which means 'hidden harbour') lies on the S side of Otok Lastovo and is a popular anchorage. The entrance to Skrivena Luka is situated on the E side of a wide bay, lM across from headland to headland. The bay is easily identified by the lighthouse up on the cliffs on the E side of the bay at Rt Struga with a powerful light, Fl.10s104m27M 259° -vis-09 5°. There is also a red metal light structure, Fl.R.3s8m3M, on the N side of the entrance into Skrivena Luka. The main dangers in the approach to Skrivena over it located approximately 3 cables W of Rt Veljeg mora; a shoal with 2m over it 1 lM west of Rt Struga; and Hrid Uska, 5 cables NW of Rt Struga. There are no dangers in the immediate approach. The entrance is narrow, but there is a minimum depth of 6m in the channel. If entering during strong S or SE winds beware of squalls from the high land. Shelter inside Skrivena Luka is excellent from all directions. Anchor in 10-12m. The bottom is mud covered with weed and it offers good holding. There are some quays around the inlet but depths alongside these are shallow. Larger vessels can anchor close outside of the entrance to Skrivena Luka, where they can obtain The houses around the bay are mainly holiday homes, but there is a restaurant on the W side.
