It is inadvisable to lie alongside the quay because the wash from passing traffic could cause damage to your yacht. This berth is extremely uncomfortable with the wash from passing craft creating conditions akin to a storm-tossed sea, and making sleep difficult. It is however close to the harbour office, the customs office, and to the central part of Venice. Berthing here is controlled by Venice Yacht Pier, and mooring fees are charged.
