44°12'.5N 15°28'.8E Charts BA 575, MK 72, lmray M25 The village of Posedarje lies on the NW coast of the Novigradsko More on the N side of the shallow bay called Uvala Luka. Uvala Luka is shallow for some distance offshore and is not recommended as an anchorage. Posedarje harbour, which is also shallow and can only accommodate yachts drawing up to 1.5m, is approached through a dredged channel. The channel is dredged to approximately 3m (but this cannot be relied upon) and is marked by posts. Shelter in the harbour is good from all directions except the sirocco. The bora does not blow too strongly in this area. The village has grocers, butchers, fruit and vegetable market, Post Office, restaurants, bars and tourist information office. Beware of Hridi Veli Skolj, an above-water rock to the E of Posedarje. Harbourmaster.

Rijeka Zrmanja and Obrovac Charts BA 575 (Admiralty), 203 (Croatian), MK 72, lmray M25 Rijeka Zrmanja is the name of the river which enters the Novigradsko More on the E shore , approximately 2YzM southeast of the Novsko Zdrilo. It is possible to navigate the river as far as the town of Obrovac, 6M upstream. Permission to go up the river must however first be obtained, either from the harbourmaster at Novigrad or the harbourmaster at Zadar. The river may only be navigated during daylight. Vessels must keep to starboard, and yachts should give way to ships. The channel has depths of 4m. It is marked by green posts to starboard and red posts to port. Anchoring in the river is prohibited but it is possible to tie up at the quay at Obrovac where there are depths of approximately 2.5m. Karinsko Zdrilo
