Approach
The hillside town of Novi can be recognised by its distinctive belfry and a conspicuous water tower standing on another hill to the E of the town. There is a light structure on the end of the breakwater. Approaching from SE, note that there is a small island close inshore. The island can be recognised by the chapel on it. This small island, OtoCic Sv. Marin, stands on a shallow bank, which has depths of 5 .7m and less over it, extending 2Yz cables offshore. The island is not lit. On entering Luka Novi, do not pass too close to the N shore, which is shallow.

Berth
Tie up alongside the inner side of the breakwater, alongside the quay near the harbour office, or alongside the mole. There are minimum depths of 2.5m in all these positions. The mole has over 3m at its head.
Shelter
The harbour is sheltered from all directions except W and strong NW winds.

Petrol, diesel and water are available from the fuel berth. Depths alongside this quay are 3m. In the town are several food shops, including a supermarket and butcher, as well as a fruit and vegetable market. General hardware store. Bank, ATM, Post Office and telephones. Pharmacy.
