It is an anchorage formed by Lastovo to the S, E and N, and Otok Prezba to the W. Overall it is shallower than Luka Velji Lago, with which it communicates by a shallow-boat channel. A low road bridge crosses this channel

42°46'.2N 16°50"4E Charts BA 7574, 2712, SC 5767, MK 27, 23, lmray M26 Luka Mali Lago is entered from the N side of Otok Lastovo. It is an anchorage formed by Lastovo to the S, E and N, and Otok Prezba to the W. Overall it is shallower than Luka Velji Lago, with which it communicates by a shallow-boat channel. A low road bridge crosses this channel, joining Otok Prezba to Lastovo. The marina mentioned in the entry for Luka Velji Lago has a quay and berths at the far SW end of Luka Mali Lago close to the road bridge. This is a very popular anchorage in August. Luka Mali Lago offers excellent shelter, particularly at its far SW end close to the shallow channel leading to Luka Velji Lago

Approach

Coming from W beware of the shoal up to 3 cables W of OtoCic Pod Mrearu on which there is a light (Fl(2)6s23m9M). Identify the entrance of Luka Mali Lago with care because there are no lights, beacons or other aids to identifying where it is. Pass between the main island of Lastovo and the island, Otok Maslovnjak Veli, NW of Lastovo. Rocks and reefs lie NW and W of Otok Maslovnjak Veli, and the passage between it and Otok Prezba should not be attempted.

Moor bow/stern to the marina quay, using the pickup lines provided. Anchor The best shelter is available in the SW corner of Luka Mali Lago, where it is possible to anchor in Sm.
