45°16'.8N 13°35'.7E Charts BA 201, MK 2, lmray M24 Just over 3M north of Poree there is a comparatively large bay called Luka Crvar. At the head of Luka Crvar is an inlet called Uvala Lunga, with the village of Crvar-Porat nearby. A marina has been constructed in Uvala Lunga, close to the remains of a Roman villa. On the N side of Luka Crvar another inlet, Uvalica Sv. Marina, has a quay used by fishing boats and fishing boat moorings. If you do not wish to go into the marina, it is possible to anchor at the entrance to Uvalica Sv. Marina in 12m, where the holding in mud is good. When approaching Luka Crvar beware of the reefs, Plieina Civran, Veliki Skolj and Mali Skolj, which lie W and SW of the entrance nearly lM offshore. The SW end of these reefs is marked by a lit W cardinal beacon (Pl. Civran Q(9)15s) and the NW end by another lit N cardinal beacon (Veliki Skolj Q). There are also 3 unlit yellow beacons just inside the main beacons. The headland to the N of the entrance, Rt Rt (Rt Zub), has a sectored light which shows red over these dangers (Fl(3)WR.10s). The shore over lM southeast of Rt Rt is fringed by rocks and you should keep at least 2 cables off it. To enter, pass to the N of the beacon marking Veliki Skolj. Steer a course which keeps you clear of the rocks off the N shore, and clear of the row of Crvar-Porat rocks and shallows extending in a line NW from the S headland. Within the bay there are some shellfishing stakes which should be avoided (see plan). The marina, which is open throughout the year, has the usual facilities including water, electricity, toilets, showers, supermarket with chandlery, laundry facilities, hotel, ATM, restaurant, slip, a 12ton crane, and mechanical workshop. Repairs to engine, hull, electrical/electronic installations, mast and sails can be undertaken. It can accommodate vessels up to 25m in length. Shelter is good from all directions except W and NW.
