Approach
There are no dangers in the immediate approach, but beware of a rocky outcrop off the end of the pier. The harbour has no navigation lights.
Berth
Tie up alongside the outer pier as space allows, or anchor and take a line to the bollard in the centre of the harbour. The bottom is mud and weed, good holding.
Shelter
The harbour is sheltered from NW through N to E.
Facilities
Water is available from the beach shower at the far end of the beach to the W of the harbour. Grocery store. Fruit and vegetable market. Fresh fish from the local fishermen. Telephone. Restaurant. Bus service {Split-Trogir). The fortified entrance to the sixteenth-century island refuge at Kastel Gomilica is impressive
History
A castle was built at Kambelovac in the 15th century by a wealthy Split family called Cambj. The tower of the original castle can still be seen in the village. Other interesting buildings include a 16-century fortified house and a summer palace, built at the time of the Renaissance. The village also has a very grand church. Kastel Luksic
