Grignano

45°42'.3N 13°42'.8E Charts BA 1471, lmray M24 The harbour at Grignano is a convenient place to spend the night if wishing to visit the castle of Miramare.
Approach
The castle of Miramare on the headland to the S is a good mark for locating the harbour of Grignano. A marine reserve has been established in the vicinity of Miramare, where navigation and fishing are prohibited. Its outer limits are marked by lit yellow buoys, and it extends as far as the root of the breakwater at Grignano. Beware also of the shellfishing floats, which extend along the coast to the NW of Grignano. A dolphin and several buoys lie close N of the entrance to Grignano.

Berth
The harbour itself is crowded with local yachts, but there may be room amongst them for a visiting yacht. In good weather secure to the outer side of the NE pier, although note that this pier is used by a passenger ferry during the season. Shelter
Good all-round shelter within the harbour. The berth alongside the N side of the pier is exposed to strong winds with any W in them.

Water and electricity have been laid onto the pontoons. Water on the quayside on the NE side of the harbour. Nearest fuel filling station is on the main road in the village. Telephone. Sailing clubs.
