45°38'.7N 13°05"9E Charts BA 204, 1471 There are two large marinas on the E bank of Fiume Tagliamento, to the SW of Lignano Sabbiadoro. Marina Uno is close to the entrance, and Marina Punta Verde is further upstream. For a yacht with a fixed mast the only approach is from seaward. It is claimed that the channel leading into the river is kept dredged to 3.5m but depths in the approach channel may be considerably less. Sand bars build up across the entrance regularly and it can be extremely dangerous to approach.
Approach
The lighthouse on Punta Tagliamento immediately to the S of the entrance aids identification. The channel is marked by wooden posts on both sides. Exercise caution, however, when approaching and keep an eye on the depth. Do not attempt to approach, enter, or leave Fiume Tagliamento in onshore winds or big seas.

Berth
Berth as directed. The marinas can accommodate vessels of up to 18m length.

Good shelter in the marinas.
