3. Uva/a Cuna 44°08'.4N l4°51'.8E Uvala Cuna lies SE of Veli Rat. There are depths of up to 3.8m in the basin. Near the entrance to Uvala Cuna the bottom is rocky, but elsewhere in the anchorage the bottom is firm mud which is excellent holding. This anchorage enjoys allround shelter. There is a restaurant here. This is A new marina, unfinished in 2006, has been built at Veli Rat, Dugi Otok. The anchorage at Zaliv Pantera can be seen in the background Leaving Uva la Cuna under sail. The channel into Uva la Cuna, past the village of Veli Rat, is well marked one of the designated anchorage and a mooring fee plus a visitor's tax are collected by an official boatman. The boatman will take away rubbish. 4. Soline 44°08'.4N 14°53'E It is possible to anchor off the village of Soline in depths of 6-9m. The bottom is sand and the holding good. This anchorage is sheltered from all directions except NW, which sends a big sea into the bay. There are two small piers at the village used by local craft. 5. Uva/a Lucica 44°08'.5N l4°52'.2E Uvala Lucica is a small cove on the SW side of Luka SolisCica, just WNW of the village of Soline. In NW winds it offers more shelter than the anchorage off Soline. Beware of the above-water wreck in the bay. Anchor in 6 or 9m. The holding in mud is generally good, although it has been reported that in parts there is only thin mud over rock. It is therefore wise to check that your anchor is holding. The bay is sheltered from all wind directions.
