Brna is a good place to stay overnight. The wooded surroundings, and the small, unspoilt village are relaxing. The anchorage to the N of the harbour is more sheltered (particularly from W), although it is shallower than Brna.
Approach
The harbour is easily identified and entered by day and night. There is a conspicuous radio mast on a hill to the E of the entrance. The light structure on the wooded Rt Veli Zaglav helps identify the entrance. Approaching from E there are no off-lying dangers, but do not pass too close to Rt Veli Zaglav because of depths of less than 6m to the W of the headland. Approaching from W there are no dangers if passing to seaward of the off-lying chain of islands. If passing inside the islands note in particular: the shoal off 0. Kosor (depths of 3.5m); Hrid Cerio (the low islet or rock S of Prizba); and the shoals NW and NE of 0. Stupa with 6m and Sm over them.

Berth
If entering the village harbour go bow/stern to the quay noting that there are depths of less than 0.5m along parts of the quay. The pier has a protruding ledge at water level, which means that low fenders and a fender board are necessary. Avoid the ferry berth, or else be prepared to move if the ferry comes 10. Anchor Anchor in 7m at the head of the bay, taking a line ashore if there is a bora. A more sheltered anchorage is in Uvala Kosirina, the inlet to the NW of the village. Anchor here in 5-8m. Shelter
The shelter is good from all directions except SW and W, which create a surge in the harbour. Uvala Kosirina is sheltered from all except SW winds.
