Approach

Approaching Otok Molar from SW beware of the area of shallows and low islets, which lies off the NW tip of Dugi Otok. From SW entry into Brguljski Zaljev is made by passing through Prolaz Maknare, the passage between Rt Bonaster to the N and Otocic Golac to the S. There are lights on both of these points. Within Prolaz Maknare there are two comparatively shallow areas with llm and 6.5m over them. In certain conditions these shallow areas can create rough seas. 3.3 .Croatia: Murter to Rab -Otok Molat Nautical Miles 0 0. Sparesnjak OTOK MOLAT AND BRGULJSKI ZALJEV Sestnce Approaching from SE through the Zverinacki Kanal beware of the dangerous rocks and shallows towards the NW end of the channel. The central shoal is marked by a light beacon (Fl(2)6s4M). The other shoals lie approximately 3 cables NW and NE of the beacon. If approaching from E or from the Sestrunjski Kanal passage has to be made between 0. Tun Veli and 0. Tun Mali. There are lights on both sides of this channel. The gap between 0. Tun Mali and Otok Molat is shallow.
