The Augusta Insula restaurant is located in the well protected and picturesque bay Zaklopatica on the island of Lastovo. The water is wonderfully clear and perfect for swimming. The jetty of the restaurant Augusta Insula offers berths for about 10-12 yachts with a maximum draft of 3.5 meters. Moorings are available. Electricity and water are available for a small fee. Internet access is free for restaurant guests. The restaurant building is made of natural stones. In the summer of 2015, the newly designed terrace was opened. The also built of natural stone terrace with a floor made of wood flooring is built into the hillside, allowing a magnificent view over the bay and the yachts. The kitchen offers exquisite delicacies from the region. The vegetables are usually harvested fresh from their own garden and the fish comes from the fishing grounds around the island Lastovo. Especially Lobster with spaghetti is a real delicacy. Since the restaurant Augusta Insula is quite popular and the berths are usually fully booked until the autumn, we recommend an in time reservation.
