A pretty nice place for swimming. There are plenty of sunbathing areas, some in the shade. You can walk quite far into the beach. The bar is great, and there are restrooms (unfortunately, not very clean). The walk from the parking lot is quick. The biggest negative is the amount of trash lying around everywhere. This definitely needs to be addressed.

We went there on the way back from Labin. They've made an effort to conceal the somewhat unusual view of the coal loading station and mining facility. The beach is clean and not too crowded. The locals arrive in the afternoon. There's a bar and a snack bar further along the harbor, where the limited free parking is located. There are changing rooms, freshwater showers, wheelchair access, and some shady spots under trees. The water is a bit murky, and you can see that it's artificially reclaimed. It's nowhere near as clear as Dragan, Medeja, etc. Perfect for a quick dip if you're coming from the south, but not suitable for a day at the beach.
