For me the best beach in Cizici. Not only for a dogs =) You can swim with SUP near the small island.
This became our favorite dog beach in Croatia for a few reasons. First, it was just a 15-minute walk from our hotel, making it super convenient. But more than that, the beach itself is relatively large and not too crowded. The beach is rocky, and there are a few trees that provide shade, but you need to arrive early to secure a spot under them. Otherwise, it's a good idea to bring a beach tent or umbrella, especially if you're coming with your dog, as the sun is strong all day. There's a small, free parking lot right next to the beach, which is a nice bonus. The beach is clean, with a trash bin available, and it's accessible via a gravel road, where you can also find a few additional parking spots. On the way, you can take a short detour to see a small lighthouse on the rocks. A few downsides: unfortunately, the sunsets are hidden behind the trees, so you might miss out on a beautiful view. Also, many families with children (without dogs) tend to visit this beach. It may not be the most beautiful dog beach in Croatia, but we really enjoyed it!
This was our favorite beach at this part of the island. We went here in the morning with our dogs and it was only us. During the day more people come to the beach but the water was not too crowded. I would definitely recommend.
Rocky beach, dirt road to get there, clean sea, very little people there. Primorje-Gorski Kotar
