A lot of tree shade, you can rent sun bed, there are showers. Toilets only in restaurant. There is some sand but as it is dogs beach and accidents happen, its questionable if it is ok for children to play in. In the morning you can swim. In the afternoon the water is low,so you need to walk through rocks a lot.
This beach is awesome, especially in the afternoon and evening. Shady place to lie down beneath pine trees, good playground and very good access to the sea (artificially built "barrier" that creates a large "puddle" for small kids to play with sand in a very warm water, more than 30°C), behind this barrier (careful, it's slippery) the real sea is accessible via some big underwater stones but it can be managed even without sea shoes. There is a sand behind these stones and it's full of tiny sea shells. It is especially enjoyable during the low tide in the late afternoon when the sea is very shallow for a long time, ideal for water plays and taking fistful of sand to see those sea shells. Although the sea is sandy, it's clear enough to see the bottom. Not the crystal clear water but a bit green-ish tint, still really beautiful and one of our favourite beaches we kept returning to.
Nice beach, you can either hide under the trees or rent an umbrella. There is a bit of sand on near the water, yet underneath is stone. To reach a deep water you need to walk like 10mins, but in other side it is very comfortable for kids. There are big stones near water entrance, so it is better to wear coral shoes or something like that, just to protect feet. Part of beach is a dog beach, so if you don't like to swim with dogs be aware of that.
Nice beach, easy to reach it. A lot of space so it never feels too crowded. Because of the trees there is always a lot of shade. They also have few beach bars and a part of the beach is meant for people with dogs. Istria
