Great beach, it's clean and the stones are smooth and easy to get in and out of the water with. The entrance is a little difficult to get to, walking a little down hill highlights a dirt path over the railings which you can then follow to the beach. Wear trainers though, it's uneven ground. There is a bar here, but no toilet. We bought prepackaged sandwiches or 7€ and drinks for 5€. They charge 30€ for 2 deck chairs and a parasol and only accept cash so plan that in unless you bring everything you need with you. Otherwise it's a wonderfully relaxing beach. Come earlier rather than later so you can park on the limited road space. It's a little steep but plenty of rocks to place under the car wheels to prevent rolling.
Oprna bay is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Krk. Today was my 4th consecutive year here.. If you are are in for a little adventure as the goat roads are steep to the beach, you'll be rewarded with amazing water and very nice and chill vibes! It has one beach bar and you can rent everything you need.
The second best beach after the one in Baška. We parked in the camping parking and went up the road. Good to know if you plan of parking on the street, if your tire is even a bit on the road the police fine is 45€ and the parking for a day is 13€ so no need to risk parking on the road. Be prepared for a little hike to reach the beach but we managed even with flip flops. Just follow the little trail. Also have in mind that there is no toilet or drinks you need to bring everything yourself Definitely recommend !
Hidden gem! Beautiful small pebble beach with crystal-clear water. Sunbeds available for €30/day. You can park along the road near the guardrail and then walk 5–10 minutes downhill following the blue-and-white trail markers. Totally worth it – highly recommended!
This is truly one of the best beaches on the island of Krk! A stunning spot with crystal-clear water. There are plenty of parking spots along the road, and there’s also a small parking lot a bit further down. Be aware that the path down to the beach is quite steep and challenging. It’s not suitable for elderly people or anyone with limited mobility. But for young and active visitors – it’s absolutely worth it. The descent is tough, but the reward at the bottom is amazing. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, but during high season, they may not be enough for everyone. You can also rent SUP boards and kayaks, which is a great way to enjoy the sea. Make sure to bring your own food, as the small café near the beach only offers water, chips, and a few snacks. Primorje-Gorski Kotar
