We have visited there. The pictures online looking a bit better then current shape, so might need some maintenance work. When we arrived, quit late during the day, there was no ice cream any more for the dog. However, location is brilliant. Very near the city centre a beach where dogs can play, be dog and enjoy the sea. Drinks for the human-parents were good too ;-). katja ho
Amazing beach, we were there almost everyday during our holiday ☺️ our Roxy tried also dog icecream and it was delicious . Free water for dogs. Enter to sea is shallow so dogs can play safely but ours prefer a lot of swimming. For people I recommend water shoes because of rocks in sea. You can shower your dog when you are leaving. Just lovely 🥰
We spent our vacation with our dog on Rab and went to Monty's Dog Beach every day. We really enjoyed it there and had a lot of fun with our dog. There are several sunbeds and lots of sun loungers with umbrellas that you can rent. It is also possible to simply lie on the grass or on the keel beach with a towel free of charge. The entrance to the water is relatively shallow over a long stretch, which is great for playing dogs. We had to go a little further in to swim. We didn't see any sea urchins - we only saw one while snorkeling in deep water. We were there at the end of August/beginning of September and the beach was not crowded - it was very relaxed with all the dogs and everyone had their own area. The service staff were very nice and both the drinks and the food are recommendable. Our dog liked the ice cream, but not the dog beer. We would love to come back!
