We spent the last day of July here (a Wednesday). It was crowded, but people are nice and everyone minds their own business. The water was clean and there is an amazing little reef at the end of the area where you can rent the sun beds. The fish are curious and there is a lovely variety of species. It's also great for kids. However, if you want some shade either bring it with you or get there super early to get one spot. There are snack bars (chips for 3€ or hot dog 3.50€- but don't expect it to be fancy)and some more expensive restaurants and a few shops, even a little market. Perfect for strolling and enjoying the views. Definitely a lovely place to enjoy the island's sunset.

It was great! The mountains in the background, the clear water, the clean beach. It really was an amazing one-day vacation. I spent most of my day there swimming and hanging out with my mom and neighbors.
Best beach in 6 days from 6 different ones. Beautiful view, nice water not too cold like other parts of the island. We used the orange sun beds st the bar. It was amazing, we stayed till almost 8 pm. The staff was very nice with the options of renting the beds, as they are paid and reserved for a day, but they do not come back, so they allowed us to use a better place, till it’s free, and yes they didn’t come back at all. It’s worth it to negotiate even for a several hours. Sure We will come back. Parking is free. Primorje-Gorski Kotar
