Gorgeous sand beach with a nice deck for sunbathing and easy water access! We rented bikes from Postira and drove along the gravel path by the sea, was a nice 20 min ride half in the shade, half in the sun with amazing views of the turquoise sea. There‘s a cute restaurant just above the beach with fair pricing and good food.
I lived on Brač Island for several years, so I know practically every beach there. The island has very few sandy beaches, and perhaps the most popular among them is Lovrečina. It’s a shallow bay, making it especially popular with families with small children. The water in the bay is quite cool because cold freshwater springs flow into it from below. The bay is very pleasant, and you can park under the trees, but the steep and narrow access road often leads to drivers burning out their clutches on the way up. Not only is the atmosphere fantastic, but the view of the mainland is also breathtaking. About 50 meters above the beach, there’s a very cool bar that’s absolutely worth a visit. The photos were taken off-season, so don’t be misled by the empty beach. In summer, this place becomes a bustling hotspot. It’s no more than a 20-minute drive from Supetar, the island’s main town.
