Well, well, well this is the true Dalmatian style beach. Rough but crystal clear. Get some sort of water shoes to fully enjoy it and don’t step on sea urchins. There is shade if too hot. This is a true local buzz. If older and comfy don’t bother. If you still going to the music festivals, you are ok 😆. There are plenty of pics here of the beach but what l found is a local authentic olive oil form Zadar ( locals use it also for tanning with St John’s Wort infusion but for me it’s too delicious so l will enjoy it in my food.
Great beach. Number one: very little litter. Not many people. With nice looking pine trees, you get some natural shade if you want.
I would say by far the most clear beach in Zadar. It was really nice.
This beach has amazing views and has trees providing shade alongside it, you can definitely enjoy the soft breeze and sound of the waves peacefully as there isn’t many people around, even at peak times, however when it comes to lying down or entering the beach to swim in it can be VERY uncomfortable because it’s full of pointy rocks (not pebbles) and sea urchins, so sandals is a MUST. After a few meters inside the water, the bottom is made of sand instead of rocks. Unlike other beaches, you can find crabs walking around you! 🦀 In regards to parking you can come all the way down and park your car for FREE next to the beach, in the shade provided by the forest 🌳 Zadar
