Beautiful beach area not far out of the city with many areas to sit and enjoy the sun and swim. About a 15 minute walk from the Pile Gate, along the water to a fantastic swimming and sunning area. Many flat places to sit or lay on a towel along with rocky areas that provide places to sit or jump off the rocks into the water. The views are amazing, quite a different area than the crowded downtown center. If you are in town for a few days and need a break, take the walk to Dance Beach, it's worth the walk
Visited during spring time. Lovely & quiet spot to enjoy sunset. Rock beach ⛱️ should be quite a hyped spot during summer, free shower & plenty of space to sunbath.
The water was really nice, and as a fan of rock beaches compared to sand beaches, it was definitely my all-time favorite beach! Myriad of fish with a gorgeous rainbow fish that I think was an Ornate Wrasse, but I'm still unsure... I would definitely recommend this to everyone except anyone who doesn't know how to swim. It is very deep from the very beginning, so there are no shallow areas for beginner swimmers.
