Very nice beach. The pebble beach is small but it offers plenty of big rock to lay on on the sides. It can be accessed by the road that comes from the town by the sea, or by the top of the residential neighbourhood that is on top.

Good place still water no much crowd
Public beach Lanterna (little lighthouse located there) is on the way from new ferry harbor to the Stari grad. There is beach bar and shower as well as mobile toilette. It can be pretty crowded and I would advise coming in the morning and evening not only because of the few people but because of the amazing sunrises and sunsets. Sometimes waves and wind can be really big and scary and then it is only for skillful swimmers. You are not advised to swim across bay as there are many boats. And be on lookout for sea urchins as well. As I am living here this is my favorite close beach. But if you want to experience more there are so many beaches and I would mention Dubovica and Sveta Nedjelja on the south side of the island. Split-Dalmatia
