A safe anchorage with limited berths to go alongside. This part of Vis harbour is the most comfortable during strong Bura. It was used by the military and also as a substitute for the town harbour during its rebuilding, so there are rudimentary failities to berth alongside. However it was never designed for nautical tourism and is often occupied by fishing boats. Anchoring is relatively challeging as the depth in the harbour is above 10 metres, holdng ground is good.
