Poseidon Beach, Jesenice, Croatia
Beach character
The beach is characterized by its multi-cove layout, with a predominant surface of beige pebbles that extend across most of the shore. The sea floor consists of small pebbles, and the depth increases sharply near the shore, making it suitable for experienced swimmers while still offering shallower areas for children. The surrounding landscape is dominated by mountains, adding to the beach's dramatic setting. Despite its pebbly terrain, the beach is recommended for families, with visitors noting its safety for young swimmers.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions at Poseidon Beach are influenced by the sharp depth increase near the shore, which may make entry challenging for some. However, the shallower areas provide a safer environment for children. The pebbly seabed could be uncomfortable for those with sensitive feet, but the beach's natural contours create sheltered coves that offer calmer waters for snorkeling. The absence of structured amenities means visitors should bring their own equipment for water activities.Facilities and activities
The beach lacks formal facilities, but visitor reviews highlight the presence of a private courtyard with a table, grill, and sea views, as well as the hosts' provision of refreshments. Snorkeling is explicitly listed as an activity, and the beach's pebbly terrain may appeal to those seeking a more natural, less commercialized environment. While no official amenities are documented, the reported features suggest a focus on privacy and comfort for guests.Access and location

Reviews
Very friendly landlord! Always my pleasure!
Excellent apartments with a new kitchenette, air conditioners, and a boiler. A sea view that you’ll remember all year round. Sufficient tranquility despite the proximity to the road. A courtyard with a table under a canopy and a grill. A beach with fine pebbles, and it’s all yours, which is valuable considering the rather crowded beaches nearby. But the most important thing is the hosts, who go to great lengths to make you feel at home. Helena and Nora, thank you for a wonderful stay!
A wonderful place, for me Croatia is the only place.
Spacious and clean rooms with air conditioning and sea views, a large living room with a kitchenette, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a table and a coffee table for your exclusive use, a private beach at your fingertips, what more could you want!? Very nice and helpful owners, and the refreshments they prepared for us - see for yourself... yum, yum. WE RECOMMEND. Thank YOU
