Port Beach, Milna, Croatia
Beach character
The beach spans approximately 20 meters in length and 10 meters in width, framed by boulders that define its cove-like structure. The sea floor is composed of similar boulders, with a moderate increase in depth as one moves away from the shore. This configuration creates a sheltered swimming area that is generally calm, though the rocky terrain means sunbathing spaces are limited to flatter sections of the boulders. During peak season, the beach is described as 'busy' by visitors, though its smaller size means it remains less crowded than larger nearby beaches.Swimming and shore
The shallow, clear waters of Port Beach are ideal for snorkeling and swimming, with visibility often extending to the sea floor. The boulders that form the beach's edge provide natural perches for sunbathing, though visitors should be mindful of the rocky surface. One reviewer noted the 'crystal clear waters and plenty of rock space to sunbathe,' while another highlighted the beach's suitability for 'parking your boat and enjoying' the surroundings. The moderate depth increase ensures the area is accessible to most swimmers.Facilities and activities
There are no direct facilities on the beach itself, but nearby amenities include a bar and restaurant located on the seafront, as reported by multiple visitors. These establishments offer convenient access to food and drinks, though one reviewer noted their 'pricey' nature. No structured activities or rental equipment are listed in the beach catalog, but the surrounding area of Milna provides opportunities for exploring local culture and dining.Access and location
Port Beach is accessible via a 45-minute walk from Lučica, a nearby coastal area, and within walking distance of Milna's city center. The beach's proximity to Milna makes it a convenient stop for visitors exploring the town and its harbor. The route from Lučica to the beach involves some elevation changes, with one reviewer describing it as 'worth the walk' due to the beach's relative seclusion compared to other nearby spots. What visitors say
Reviewers consistently highlight the beach's natural beauty and tranquility, with multiple visitors describing it as 'one of the best beaches near Milna.' The clear waters and rocky terrain are frequently mentioned, alongside the convenience of nearby dining options. One reviewer noted the beach's 'less full' character compared to other spots, while another praised the 'many different coves to explore' in the surrounding area. The 'exceptional' ratings from all four reviews reflect a generally positive experience, though the walk from Lučica is occasionally cited as a minor inconvenience.Practical tips
Visitors should be prepared for a rocky shoreline and consider wearing comfortable footwear for the walk from Lučica. The beach's smaller size means it can become crowded during peak hours, so arriving early may enhance the experience. The nearby restaurants offer a convenient option for meals, though prices may be higher than in other areas.Exploring the coast by yacht

Reviews
Beautiful little cove. Generally quiet. Crystal clear waters and plenty of rock space to sunbath. Lovely bar/ restaurant right on the sea front for a refreshing drink.
The location is excellent. Went into the bay by boat and had a great lunch of fish and salad.
Pretty place to park your boat and enjoy.
One of the best beaches near Milna. Lučica is a 45min walk from Port Milna and the city center. It can be quite the walk, but it’s worth it. The beach is less full than the others and the water is clear. Many different coves to explore. The beach is of course rocky, but there are many flat places to lay. The best part about Lučica compared to the other nearby beaches is that there are restaurants and cafes along the shore. The restaurants are on the pricey side, but if you’re hungry or thirsty, very convenient. Split-Dalmatia
