Plaza Tinka Beach, Croatia
Beach character
The beach’s defining feature is its boulder-covered terrain, with the shoreline composed of large rocks and the seabed similarly rugged. This creates a unique environment for visitors, though the sharp increase in depth near the shore means caution is needed for swimmers. The beach’s width (50 meters) and length provide ample space for exploration, while the surrounding pine forest offers natural shade. The area is noted for its cleanliness and is frequented by naturists, making it a destination for those seeking a more unconventional beach experience.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions at Plaza Tinka are influenced by the seabed’s rocky composition. The sharp depth increase near the shore means the water becomes deeper quickly, which may not be ideal for young children or inexperienced swimmers. However, the clear water and varied terrain make it suitable for activities like snorkeling and diving, where the underwater landscape can be explored. The beach’s boulders also create natural vantage points for sunbathing or enjoying the view of the Adriatic Sea.Facilities and activities
While no structured amenities are listed, the beach supports several recreational activities. Diving, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), surfing, and snorkeling are explicitly associated with the area. Visitors have noted the presence of private spots along the shore, which can be ideal for those seeking solitude. The beach’s natural features, including its rocky outcrops, provide opportunities for exploration and photography.Access and location
Plaza Tinka is situated in Punat, a village on the island of Brač, part of the Central Dalmatia region in Croatia. The beach is accessible via Buka ulica, with parking options available though reviewers note that shaded spots are limited. The area’s connection to the Adriatic sailing routes means it is within reach of marinas and anchorages that cater to yacht charter guests. What visitors say

The beach’s popularity with naturists and pet-friendly policies also stand out in visitor accounts.Practical tips

Reviews
Amazing and very often quiet beach. Super clear water surrounded by a pine forest. There are lots and lots of private spots around the beach that are perfect if you prefer your own place. Great for jumping in and walking in, whatever you like.
Super nice beach with a lot of shade and many spots where you can jump in the water from the big rocks. The parking situation is okay, but there’s not a lot of shady spots to park your car at. If you come early in the morning then you can find a nice spot for your car in the shade so it doesn’t get hot.
Cleaned up the beach today! Take your waste home!!
