Plaza Senj Beach, Croatia
Beach character
Plaza Senj's shoreline is characterized by a mix of grey sand and medium-sized pebbles, with the seabed featuring a combination of sand and large boulders. The beach extends 140 meters along the coast, with a width of 10 meters. The landscape is dominated by mountainous terrain to the north, creating a dramatic backdrop. Depth increases sharply near the shore, which may affect wading conditions. Despite the pebble composition, the beach is recommended for children, suggesting a generally gentle gradient into the water.Swimming and shore
The beach's mixed sand and pebble composition offers varied swimming conditions. The seabed's sand and boulders create an uneven surface for wading, while the sharp depth increase near the shore may limit shallow-water activities. Water clarity is not explicitly documented, but the beach's popularity for snorkeling and diving suggests generally good visibility. The area supports a range of water sports, including surfing, jetski, and stand-up paddleboarding, with beach volleyball courts available for land-based recreation.Facilities and activities

However, visitor reports indicate nearby access to a supermarket (Super Konzum) near the roundabout, which provides essentials at competitive prices. The beach supports a variety of activities including diving, surfing, snorkeling, beach volleyball, jetski, and water entertainment. These options cater to both active travelers and those seeking leisurely water-based experiences.Access and location

Reviews
Senj is a beautiful place. We have stopped here only for 1 day, but we'll come back as this place is amazing.
Bring your swimming shoes and a loads of sunscreen. The place is nice.
Nice beach in Croatia that is totally free. Parking is available on side of road that runs above the beach on the hill, usually a spot in the shade is free. Was not crowded and beach was very clean. If you need anything to eat or towels/slippers, do not go to the street vendors! There is a supermarket „Super Konzum“ very close to the roundabout that has everything at very good prices!
