Plaza Pralisce Beach, Croatia
Beach character
The beach's defining feature is its composition of small, smooth pebbles that form a natural path to the water's edge. The shore extends straight for 300 meters, with a width of 10 meters, creating a linear experience that contrasts with the region's more curved coastal profiles. Behind the beach, low mountain ridges provide a backdrop that enhances the sense of seclusion despite the beach's popularity in high season. The sea floor mirrors the pebble pattern, ensuring a uniform texture underfoot as swimmers move into the water.Swimming and shore
The beach's depth increases gradually, making it particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers. The shallowest areas near the shore allow for safe wading, while the deeper sections further out maintain clear visibility. The pebble surface, though not sandy, is described by visitors as 'easy to walk on' and 'gradual into the water.' This characteristic aligns with the beach's 'smooth depth increase' rating, which is explicitly noted in its authoritative features.Facilities and activities
While no formal amenities are listed in the beach's catalog, visitor reports mention a beach bar operating during peak seasons. Water-based activities are explicitly available, with kayaking, snorkeling, and general water entertainment options. Free parking was reported by multiple visitors, though this should be confirmed on-site as it may vary by season. The absence of structured facilities means visitors should plan accordingly for basic needs like shade or refreshments.Access and location
Located at Prali??e II/19, Marina, the beach is positioned within the broader Split-Dalmatia region, a hub for both land and sea travel. Its coordinates (43.51738, 16.11812) place it within easy reach of Split's main attractions, though specific road access details are not provided in the catalog. The beach's inclusion in Euro-Agent's beaches map suggests it is part of a network of accessible coastal points along the Adriatic. What visitors say
Reviewers consistently highlight the beach's clarity and accessibility. Greg Payne noted the 'gradual, easy descent into the crystal clear water,' while Sergey Kondratiev emphasized the 'worm [sic] big plus not many people' during late September. Novice and A Nocoń both mentioned free parking availability, though this may depend on seasonal demand. The beach bar and scenic views were specifically mentioned by A Nocoń, adding to its appeal as a destination with both natural and recreational elements.Practical tips
Visitors should consider September as a potentially less crowded time to visit, based on reviewer reports. The availability of free parking, while noted in reviews, should be verified on-site. The beach's pebble surface may require sturdy footwear for extended walks along the shore.Exploring the coast by yacht
For yacht charter guests exploring the Dalmatian Coast, Plaza Pralisce represents one of many accessible points along the Split region's coastline. Reviews
Gradual, easy descent into the crystal clear water. Beach consists of small white pebbles. Easy to walk on.
We now travel on end of September, water 💧 still clear, and worm, big plus not many people, so that's mean, can easily lay down anywhere you want, all belong to you 😀 😉 🫠🫶, and also lots of empty parking places ...life full of enjoyment 😉 😋 Здравка Монева
Like all beaches, this one is rocky, but we liked it. We parked the car for free above the beach.
I personally liked that beach. Not to wide, but quite long. Water is great - clear with some shallow and some deeper parts. Water attractions available. There's a beach bar. The view is really nice. Not over-crowded. Split-Dalmatia
