Plaza Pod Zaglavu Beach, Croatia
Beach character
The beach's defining feature is its compact, straight shoreline measuring 20 meters by 10 meters, composed of small gray pebbles. Cliffs along the shore create natural shaded areas, offering respite from direct sunlight. The sea floor extends gradually with small pebbles, supporting moderate depth increase. While no structured amenities exist, the beach's raw natural character appeals to travelers seeking unspoiled coastal environments. Its position within a larger network of caves and coves adds to its allure for explorers.Swimming and shore
Snorkeling is the primary water activity, with clear waters revealing underwater terrain. The pebble-covered sea floor and moderate depth make it suitable for casual snorkeling. Reviews note the presence of small caves and additional coves along the coast, though these require careful navigation. The beach's shallow gradient allows for easy entry, though descending to explore underwater features requires sneakers as noted by visitors.Facilities and activities
No formal facilities exist at the beach itself, but its proximity to Metajna and Rucice beaches offers nearby access points. The sole structured activity is snorkeling, with the beach's natural features making it ideal for exploring marine life. The trail connection to the Life On Mars Trail (southern leg) provides an overland route for hikers and cyclists seeking extended coastal exploration.Access and location

Reviews
Accessible via the Trail on Mars. A small, beautiful, peaceful and quiet bay, with clear waters perfect for snorkeling. There are small caves and other coves along the coast to explore. Descending is only permitted with sneakers.
As a beach label it is good enough. There are a few places for bathing, but I don't know if I could see x places for all-day zevling here. Maybe I'm picky, but this is so for a bath and go on the trail. In any case, the place is super secluded away from civilization and you can rest here for a while and refresh your boiled body.
Beautiful, quiet bays for sunbathing without crowds behind you
Tiny, yet perfect natural beach near Metajna, available from both the town and through the mountains from Rucice beach (Life On Mars Trail, southern leg, 20 minutes walk)
