Plaza Jadran Beach, Croatia
Beach character
The beach’s straight shoreline is marked by a consistent 10-meter width, with pebbles forming the sea floor. Natural rock formations provide partial shade, though sun protection is recommended during peak hours. Visitors note the beach’s high seasonal crowd levels, with one reviewer describing it as 'packed' during summer. Despite this, the beach maintains a 'good' cleanliness index, with no structured amenities listed. The promenade, mentioned in reviews, offers a scenic walkway along the shore.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions are influenced by the pebbled seabed, which may require footwear for comfort. Depth increases moderately as one moves offshore, creating a gradual transition from shallow to deeper waters. Reviews confirm the water’s clarity, though the pebbles may affect the swimming experience for those preferring sandy beaches. The beach’s orientation and surrounding geography suggest it is suitable for calm, leisurely swims rather than vigorous activity.Facilities and activities
No structured facilities or activities are listed in the beach catalog. However, visitor reviews reference a promenade and a hotel-based mountain biking tour available to guests. The beach appears to be part of a private hotel complex, with one reviewer noting a 'small space for the public' at the shoreline’s end. No showers, toilets, or parking are explicitly mentioned in authoritative features.Access and location
Plaza Jadran is situated near Supetar, a coastal town in the Split-Dalmatia region. Its coordinates (43.27334, 17.04378) place it within a sailing area known for its marinas and anchorages. One reviewer described the beach as 'situated right on the smooth pebbled beach,' suggesting direct access from the hotel. The beach’s proximity to Split, a major maritime hub, makes it a potential stop for yacht charter guests exploring the Dalmatian coast. What visitors say
Reviewers consistently highlight the beach’s scenic quality and seasonal crowds. Dragos Glibota noted the 'clear water' and 'nice sand,' while Novice mentioned a 'beautiful beach with less people' during off-peak times. Aleksandra Makowska praised the promenade’s 'picturesque' character, and Steve Astle described the hotel’s 'quiet location' and 'peaceful' atmosphere. However, one reviewer expressed uncertainty about the beach’s public access, citing a 'small space for the public' at the shoreline’s end.Practical tips

Very busy during peak summer days. Water is clear and the sand is nice. Reccomend. vladimir jovic
Beautiful beach with less people. I’m not sure if the whole beach is private and belongs to the hotel but at the end there’s a small space for the public.
A very beautiful promenada along the beach. Cery picturesque
Lovely week at this hotel. Quiet location and very peaceful. Staff were great and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Situated right on the smooth pebbled beach. Not much to do for younger children not unless they like swimming all day. I went on the hotels MTB tour which was great and informative. Will definitely be returning!!! Split-Dalmatia
