Plaza Duba Beach, Croatia
Beach character
The beach's defining feature is its cove shape, flanked by mountains that offer natural shade, particularly beneficial during the midday sun. The shoreline is composed of beige pebbles, which, while not ideal for those preferring sandy beaches, provide a stable surface for walking. The seabed is covered with medium-sized pebbles, creating a smooth gradient into deeper waters. This gradual depth increase is suitable for children and inexperienced swimmers. The beach is noted for its cleanliness, with visitors frequently highlighting the absence of litter and the overall maintenance of the area.Swimming and shore
The sea floor's pebble composition may require caution for those unaccustomed to such surfaces, though the smooth transition into deeper waters ensures safety for swimmers. The water is described as 'crystal clear' in multiple reviews, with visibility extending to the seabed. The beach's orientation and depth profile make it an ideal location for snorkeling, as the pebbles create a natural habitat for marine life. Surfers and Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) enthusiasts also frequent the area, taking advantage of the consistent wave patterns and calm conditions.Facilities and activities
While no formal amenities are listed in the beach's authoritative features, visitor reviews mention a restaurant and mobile toilet located near the beach. The absence of structured facilities like sunbeds or umbrellas means visitors are encouraged to bring their own gear. The beach supports a range of water activities, including SUP, surfing, and snorkeling, which align with the region's reputation as a sailing and water sports destination.Access and location

Reviews
Beutiful beach with clean water and lots of sea life. Parking is available along the road for free. There is also a restaurant and mobile toilet on one end. Beach is rather long so it was not crowded.
One of the most beautiful beaches in Pelješac. Not crowded, cristal clear sea, some shade can be found if you come early enough.
In my opinion, the most beautiful beach on the Peljesac Peninsula !! About one kilometer long pebble beach. The drive is quite long, but the lack of crowds and peace of this place make up for everything! The view of the sea and the mountains is one of the best I have seen in my life. 19 93
Very nice and quite beach. Beautiful sea. A lot of parking place. There is a beach caffe bar with normal prices of ice cream and drinks.
The beach is really nice. There is a free parking above the beach and just a few stairs to the beach. There is not much shade but if you get early or a bit late afternoon you will find some free spots. The water is ok, just right. There is one bar with fair prices. Would definitely go back. The beach is covered in small stones and the entrance to the water is easy. There are no dechchairs nor parasols to rent which is a minus so bring your own. Dubrovnik-Neretva
