Padova II Beach, Croatia
Beach character
This cove beach presents a striking contrast between its natural features and the surrounding environment. The predominant surface consists of beige sand, creating a uniform texture across most of the shoreline. The beach's dimensions—180 meters in length and 10 meters in width—make it a compact yet spacious option for sunbathing and light water activities. The natural shade provided by the landscape offers intermittent relief from direct sunlight, though visitors should note that the beach is categorized as 'busy' during peak season according to crowd index data. Cleanliness is reported as 'good' in official assessments, though no specific maintenance routines are documented.Swimming and shore
The beach's most notable feature for swimmers is its smooth depth increase, described as 'very smooth' in the authoritative records. This characteristic makes it particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers, with the sea floor consisting entirely of sand. The shallow gradient allows for safe wading and easy entry into the water. While no formal lifeguard services are mentioned, the natural conditions suggest it's a relatively low-risk environment for swimming. The sea's clarity is not explicitly documented, but the sandy bottom typically supports good visibility in such coastal areas.Facilities and activities
Official records indicate no formal facilities are present at Padova II Beach itself. However, visitor reviews frequently mention the nearby Restaurant Batana, which has become a notable feature of the area. Described as a 'picture-perfect' location on the seafront, this establishment offers a range of dishes including vegan options and has received consistently high ratings from visitors. While not an official beach amenity, the restaurant's proximity makes it a natural extension of the visitor experience in this part of Banjol.Access and location

Reviews
In addition to the regular food, they also have a VEGAN option. Appetizer of vegan bruschetta with vegan mozzarella and vegan cheese on a wooden board and vegan vegetable pizza with vegan cheese. Excellent! Highly recommended.
Restaurant Batana is an absolute standout on the island of Rab. The setting is picture-perfect—right on the seafront—so you can enjoy your meal with the sound of the waves and a beautiful view. Our group of five all chose different dishes, and each one was superb. I did have to wait a little longer for mine, but the portion was generous and well worth it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend Batana to anyone looking for top-quality food in a Banjoli.
A place to eat. We received a word from a friend and it was not disapointment. We had lunch, salads and bruschette and it was heaven.
The best pizza you can eat on Rab island!
The most beautiful pizza I've ever eaten, and that burger(kebab) sandwich sooo good, top service, friendly staff, atmosphere, sea view. My recommendation Primorje-Gorski Kotar
