Mlini Beach, Croatia
Beach character
Mlini Beach is defined by its pebble composition, with 290 meters of shoreline featuring a 20-meter-wide expanse of beige pebbles. The seabed is covered in medium-sized pebbles, which may pose challenges for those unaccustomed to such surfaces. Depth increases gradually, with no sharp drops, though reviewers note rocky sections in clearer waters. The surrounding landscape includes mountainous terrain that provides natural shade, particularly in the cove areas. The beach is marked as 'packed' during high season but maintains a 'good' cleanliness rating according to authoritative records. It is recommended for families and leisure seekers, though the pebbly nature may require water shoes for comfort.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions are generally calm, with moderate depth increases allowing for safe entry. However, reviewers report rocky sections in clearer waters, particularly beyond 5 meters from shore. The beach's pebble surface may make barefoot swimming uncomfortable for some. One reviewer noted deeper waters only after 5 meters, advising caution. The shoreline includes natural rock formations that create sheltered coves, though these areas can become rougher in windy conditions. A single shower facility is available for rinsing off after swimming, though no other amenities are present on the beach itself.Facilities and activities
The beach lacks formal facilities beyond a single shower unit. Nearby, the walkway to Dubrovnik features cafes and beach bars, with some establishments offering sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Snorkeling is the primary structured activity, with clear waters attracting visitors seeking underwater exploration. No formal parking is listed in authoritative features, though reviews mention parking spots above the beach that may be reserved during peak times. One visitor reported being directed to park by a local during shoulder season, suggesting availability may vary by time of year.Access and location

Reviews
Beautiful beach. Deeper waters only after 5 m so be careful. Has a shower too!
Absolutely stunning we fell in love all over again.
Nice place, beautiful nature. Quiet. Plenty of food options. Close to Dubrovnik and Cavtat. Recommended for all - families, couples and solo people.
Beautiful beach 10 minutes from Dubrovnik. Parking spots above appeared to be reserved, but one of the friendly locals told us it was ok to park there for a bit. Not sure if that was due to it being shoulder season. Beach itself was typically pebbly, and rocky once in the clear water, so water shoes are defintely recommended. Quiet and relatively uncrowded in mid-October, and still warm enough for a swim. Lounge chairs available (appeared to be free at the time, as there was no vendor there and people were just taking them). No facilities on the beach (other than a shower to rinse off), but there were places to eat along the walkway. Limited shade on the fringes of the beach, and there were boulders on both sides. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely beach. Quiet and mainly locals come here. Usually very calm and clear water but can get a little scummy and wavy on windy days. Plenty of cafes and beach bars nearby. You can pay for sunbeds and umbrellas, not unreasonable prices. Dubrovnik-Neretva
