Mastrinka Beach - Trogir, Croatia
Beach character
The beach’s defining feature is its pebble composition, with small beige stones forming the majority of the shoreline. This texture, while less common than sand, provides a stable surface for sunbathing and walking. Natural shade is available along parts of the beach, offering respite from the sun. The seabed is similarly composed of fine pebbles, with a moderate depth increase that makes it suitable for swimmers of all ages. Visitor reviews note the beach’s cleanliness and the clarity of its waters, though the absence of public toilets is a recurring observation.Swimming and shore
Mastrinka Beach is well-suited for swimming, with its moderate depth profile allowing safe entry for children and adults alike. The clear waters, frequently highlighted in visitor comments, support activities such as snorkeling and fishing. The shoreline’s pebble surface may require a towel for comfort, but the beach’s natural contours provide gentle waves that are generally calm. Water entertainment options, including rentals or guided tours, are available nearby, though specific details about onshore facilities are not listed in the beach’s authoritative features.Facilities and activities
Formal amenities are limited, with no public toilets or showers reported in the beach’s structured features. However, visitor reviews mention a small ice cream and drinks shop on-site, and free parking is available. The beach supports a range of activities, including snorkeling, fishing, and general water-based recreation. The lack of structured facilities means visitors should plan accordingly, though the nearby town of Trogir offers additional services for those requiring them.Access and location
Mastrinka Beach is located at Put Sv. Križa 54 in Trogir, approximately 10 kilometers from Split and near the Split Airport. Its accessibility by road makes it a convenient destination for visitors arriving by car. The beach’s proximity to Trogir’s historic center means it benefits from the town’s infrastructure, including restaurants and shops. However, the absence of direct public transport to the beach means visitors should consider private transportation or arrange transfers through local services. What visitors say
Visitors consistently praise Mastrinka Beach for its cleanliness, clear waters, and relatively low crowds during peak season. Simona Drovenik noted the beach’s ‘cozy’ atmosphere and free parking, while Alexander Lundin described it as ‘quite and clean’ with ‘crystal clear water.’ Some reviewers, like Aldona Cupiał-Woźniak, highlighted the unique experience of watching planes land at the nearby airport. However, the lack of public toilets is a recurring point of mention, with one reviewer noting it as a potential drawback for those requiring such facilities.Practical tips
Bring a towel for the pebble shoreline, as the beach does not provide sunbeds or umbrellas. Parking is available free of charge, but spaces may be limited during busy periods. For restroom facilities, consider using those in nearby Trogir or planning accordingly. The beach’s proximity to the airport offers a unique vantage point for aviation enthusiasts.Exploring the coast by yacht

The surrounding waters are part of the broader Split-Dalmatia sailing area, which includes marinas in Trogir and Split. Mastrinka Beach experiences moderate crowds during peak season, with visitor reviews suggesting it remains less crowded than some of Trogir’s more famous beaches. Reviews
Cozy and nice beach, not crowded, with lots of shade, free parking, cabins for changing. There is no public toilet and you can see planes landing in the nearby airport. Water is very clean.
Great public beach with small white pebbles not crowded at all quite and clean. Crystal clear water and also a small ice cream and cold drinks shop available on the beach. The pictures do not make justice to this cozy beach. Top! antisa jaki
