Luka Silba
General
44°22'.5N 14°42'.4E Charts BA 515, MK 9, 11, lmray M25 Luka Silba is an attractive and popular harbour which soon fills up in the afternoon. As a result many visiting yachts anchor off the harbour overnight.
Approach
The harbour can be located from seaward by the houses of the village and the light structure on the end of the main breakwater. The approach is straightforward and clear of hidden dangers. If approaching from S however, pass to the W of the light buoy moored off Rt Tale on Otok Olib.

Berth
Tie up bows-to the inner side of the breakwater, or to the E side of the central pier, picking up one of the lines provided. Underwater ballasting restricts the The visitors' berths on the outer breakwater at Luka Si Iba are soon fully occupied The lookout tower in the centre of Otok Si Iba was built in the nineteenth century by a local sea captain, Petar Marinic depths immediately alongside the breakwater. Anchor off the harbour in 7m, sand, good holding.

Good shelter from all directions except NE (the bora).
