Linardici Beach, Croatia
Beach character
Linardici Beach is a narrow cove measuring approximately 20 meters wide and 10 meters deep, with a shoreline predominantly composed of beige pebbles. The beach is partially shaded by pine trees that line the hillside above, offering natural cover from the midday sun. The seabed drops sharply to large boulders, creating a challenging environment for swimmers but an ideal setting for snorkeling. The beach's orientation and the surrounding topography create a sheltered bay that remains relatively calm even during moderate winds. This geological profile, while less accommodating for young children or those seeking easy water access, appeals to visitors looking for a more rugged coastal experience.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions at Linardici Beach are best suited for confident swimmers due to the rocky seabed. The water clarity is consistently high, making it a popular spot for snorkeling. Visitors have reported seeing marine life in the shallows, though the uneven terrain means caution is required when entering and exiting the water. A concrete platform near the shore provides a stable entry point, with a small ladder leading to the sea. The beach's natural contours create a protected environment, though the sharp depth increase means the area is not recommended for toddlers or those unfamiliar with rocky shorelines.Facilities and activities
The beach lacks formal amenities such as showers, restrooms, or lifeguard services. However, the surrounding pine forest provides natural shade, and the beach's proximity to Milohnići village means visitors can access local services. The primary activity here is snorkeling, with the clear waters revealing underwater rock formations and marine life. The beach also attracts hikers, who use the trail connecting it to the nearby port. Dogs are permitted, though visitors are advised to clean up after their pets as waste bins are not available on-site.Access and location
Reaching Linardici Beach requires a 20-minute walk along a narrow trail from the Linardici port, which is accessible by car. The road to the port is narrow, with a height restriction of 2.10 meters, limiting access for larger vehicles. Parking is available at the port for free, though spaces are limited. The trail itself is rocky in sections, making sturdy footwear essential. Visitors arriving by boat may anchor in nearby bays, though there are no designated marinas or mooring facilities at the beach itself. The beach's location on the Krk coast places it within reach of several sailing routes along the northern Adriatic. What visitors say
Reviewers consistently highlight the beach's tranquility and scenic beauty, with multiple visitors noting that it remains uncrowded even during peak season. Elisa (August 2024) emphasized the importance of arriving early to secure a spot, while Gustavo Alves (September 2022) described it as 'the best beach in Krk' for its peaceful atmosphere. Sara Colaone (August 2022) noted the comfort of the surrounding rocks for sunbathing, though she warned about the narrow road's height restriction. Vasileios Karakostas (August 2022) praised the 'crystal water' but mentioned the limited parking space, suggesting it's ideal for those seeking solitude.Practical tips
Arrive early to avoid crowds and secure parking at the Linardici port. Wear sturdy shoes for the rocky trail to the beach. Be aware of the 2.10-meter height restriction on the road to the port. Bring your own waste disposal supplies as bins are not available on-site. The beach's rocky terrain makes it unsuitable for young children without close supervision.Exploring the coast by yacht
For sailors exploring the Krk coast, Linardici Beach lies within a region that connects to several key marinas and anchorages. The nearby port of Linardici serves as a common starting point for boats navigating the northern Adriatic. While the beach itself lacks formal mooring facilities, the surrounding coastline offers sheltered bays suitable for anchoring. The area's proximity to the Krk Channel and the wider Adriatic sailing routes makes it a useful waypoint for those traveling between the Istrian Peninsula and the Dalmatian Coast. Yacht charterers may consider the nearby marinas in the town of Krk for provisioning and overnight stays.Best Time to Visit
Linardici Beach is most enjoyable during the shoulder seasons of late spring and early autumn, when temperatures are pleasant and crowds are minimal. Summer visitors should aim to arrive before 10 AM to secure a spot on the beach. The beach remains accessible year-round, though the rocky shoreline may be less inviting during colder months.Local Context

Reviews
Great beach with clear water! Not so big so it's better to be there early. We parked our car at the Linardici port and then walked about 20 min along a narrow trail along the coastline. It's not too complicated, but consider wearing shoes and not flip flops. The trail stsrts on the far left side of the port, when looking at the sea. Enjoy!
Best beach in krk, you should get there early and have the place for yourself. There's not that much space kn the beach itself but the rocks surronding the bay are pretty comfortable.. Parking is free and 10 min away from the beach. If you want peace, you will find it
The beach is lovely. There is a stone beach under the pines and a concrete platform under the sun with a small ladder for going into the sea. Be aware that the road is very narrow and there is a bar on it that blocks the access to vans that are higher than 2.10m.
Amazing beach with small rocky sand and crystal water. There is not enough space maybe for 7-8 cars and the street is very narrow. Definitely is a good spot for camping if you are lucky and find some shade before anyone else tour line.. Primorje-Gorski Kotar
