Kazela Beach - Medulin, Croatia
Beach character
The beach's defining feature is its rocky shoreline, with boulders forming the primary surface across most of its length. The smooth gradient of the seabed ensures safe entry for swimmers, while the 20-meter width allows for varied use of the space. Though not a traditional sandy beach, Kazela's rocky terrain offers stable footing and natural shade from larger rocks. The beach is part of a larger recreational complex that includes parks, walking trails, and picnic areas, creating a multi-functional environment for visitors.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions at Kazela are generally favorable, with calm waters during off-peak hours and more active waves during windy periods. The smooth seabed transition makes it accessible for swimmers of all ages. While the rocky surface may limit traditional sunbathing areas, the beach provides rental options for sunshades and chairs. The shoreline's natural contours create sheltered pockets that are particularly appealing during stronger winds.Facilities and activities
Kazela Beach supports a range of water-based activities, including kayaking, surfing, parasailing, beach volleyball, jetskiing, and general water entertainment. Equipment rentals are available on-site, with reviews noting paddle boards and bicycles for hire. Reviews
Dog friendly, in the midst of a camp. Entry by car is probably paid, I jogged. Can be reached on foot or with bike if you follow the coast from the sand beach in town. Extremely clean and nice smooth rocky entrance.
It's great! Loads to do and the windsurfing is very good value. Plus they have done bikes and paddle boards for hire 👍
Not too busy , water was great and nice chairs and sunshades for rent.
Very clean facilities, crystal clear sea and above all very friendly personnel. I loved it the most because it was not so crowded. Perhaps because the camp is so big.
