Karinsko More III Beach: A Vibrant Coastal Spot in Zadar-Šušnjar, Croatia
Beach character
The beach’s defining feature is its 20-meter-wide expanse of beige pebbles, which extend 640 meters along a linear shore. The sea floor mirrors this pebble coverage, with depth increasing gradually from the shore. Surrounded by hills, the beach offers a dramatic contrast between the rugged inland and the smooth, clean waters of the Adriatic. Its positioning near Zadar, a historic city with a thriving maritime culture, adds to its appeal for both relaxation and exploration.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions are generally favorable, with clear waters and moderate depth that suits both casual swimmers and more experienced bathers. However, the pebble surface requires footwear for comfortable entry into the sea. The beach’s proximity to a pub with food and beer options provides a social hub for visitors, though dogs are restricted to maintain the area’s cleanliness and safety.Facilities and activities
While no formal amenities are listed, the beach’s natural setting supports activities like hiking and cycling, given the terrain’s roughness. Its association with water sports and nearby bars/clubs suggests a focus on active recreation and socializing. The lack of structured facilities means visitors should plan for self-sufficiency, though the beach’s integration with Zadar’s coastal infrastructure offers opportunities for broader exploration.Access and location

A recurring theme is the beach’s suitability for both families and active travelers, though its compact size and pebble surface may not appeal to all.Practical tips

Reviews
A beautiful piece of beach, we were there at 6 p.m., the sun was still shining, people were coming and going, it wasn't crowded, with families and friends. The water is clean and the beach is made of small, light pebbles, but it is difficult to enter the water without shoes. The beach is not large, next to a pub with food and beer, dogs are not allowed. Locals use it every day, it was worth the drive to spend the afternoon
