Karavany Sveti Petar Beach, Croatia
Karavany Sveti Petar is a multi-cove beach located along Croatia's coast, characterized by its natural landscape and proximity to camping facilities. The beach spans approximately 160 meters in length and 20 meters in width, with a surface composed primarily of beige pebbles. Natural shade is available, making it a suitable destination for visitors seeking shelter from direct sunlight. While the beach is not explicitly marked as a formal public beach, it is associated with the nearby Autocamp Ε ime, a camping site that provides access to the shoreline.
Beach character
The beach's structure consists of multiple coves, creating a varied shoreline experience. The predominant surface is beige pebbles, which cover most of the beach area. The seabed is similarly composed of medium-sized pebbles, which may present challenges for certain groups, such as those with mobility limitations. Depth increases sharply when entering the water, a feature that makes the beach particularly suitable for children who can wade safely in shallow areas. The natural landscape provides some shade, though visitors should be prepared for exposure during peak daylight hours.
Swimming and shore
The beach's pebble-covered seabed and sharp depth increase create a unique swimming environment. While the shallow, gradual entry point is ideal for young children, the pebbles may make prolonged standing or walking along the shore uncomfortable for some visitors. The beach is not recommended for those seeking sandy shores, but its natural character appeals to those interested in a more rugged coastal experience. Swimming is possible in the shallower areas, though the pebbles may require water shoes for comfort.
Facilities and activities
Karavany Sveti Petar is not a formally structured beach with dedicated facilities, but it is closely linked to the Autocamp Ε ime camping site. This site provides electricity and water access, along with nearby shops, a restaurant, and a supermarket within walking distance. Activities such as kayaking and surfing are available in the surrounding area, though specific rental services are not detailed in the beach catalog. The camping site's amenities, including simple but clean sanitary facilities, are highlighted in visitor reviews as a positive aspect of the location.
Access and location
Access to the beach is primarily through the Autocamp Ε ime camping site, which is located near the shoreline. Visitors report that the access road to the site is narrow and ends on private property, though the site manager is described as accommodating in allowing entry. The beach is situated in a coastal area with nearby settlements, and the immediate vicinity includes a restaurant noted for its pizza and a small bakery and supermarket accessible on foot. The beach's location is described as being difficult to drive further from, suggesting it is a secluded spot within the broader coastal region.

Reviews
A great location right by the sea. The name is a bit misleading. The site is actually called Autocamp Ε ime. The access road is narrow and ends on private property. The site manager was very friendly and waved us in right away. There are shops and a restaurant within walking distance. Electricity and water are available on site. Really beautiful. It's hard to drive any further.
This was by far the most amazing campsite I have ever been to. Small, uncomplicated, familiar, beautiful location - you just feel comfortable! The sanitary facilities are simple and very clean for Croatian standards! The family that runs this place is very hospitable and uncomplicated. In the immediate vicinity there is a restaurant with the best pizza, in the morning there is a small bakery on the street and there is also a small supermarket - everything you need! Access to the sea couldn't be better - provided you have water shoes of course :)
We weren't at the campsite. Our cabin was 20 m from the road. But going here was a great choice. πGreat access to the sea and free showers!
